Pyhällö kindergarten

Pyhällö daycare center is located along Highway 26, halfway between Hamina and Taavetti, about 25 km from the center of Hamina. The daycare center, founded in 2001, was built in the former caretaker's apartment of a school building built in 1985. There is close cooperation with preschool education, and the daycare center also organizes care for "older children".

In addition to the daycare facilities and fenced yard, we have access to the school's gym with equipment, a woodworking class, a school yard with equipment, a sports field, a frisbee golf course, a nearby forest, and in winter, cross-country ski trails and an ice hockey rink.

It is important to us to pay individual attention to the child in everyday life through various positive pedagogical methods. 

We are surrounded by beautiful nature, which we make great use of in our activities. The local forest offers a diverse learning environment for young and old, where we can marvel at the changes of the different seasons and play together.

There is a parents' committee in the village, which has built us, among other things, a lean-to for forest trips.
