Home daycare

Family daycare is provided in the family daycare provider's own home in a group of four children.

The operations follow the early childhood education plan of the City of Hamina.

Hamina municipal family daycare offers home-like early childhood education, the strength of which is a small group of children, which strengthens the individual attention given to the child. The diverse day programs consist of play, outdoor activities and trips in the forest and nature, playground games, crafts, songs, rhymes, fairy tales and various forms of exercise. Environmental and traffic education is well implemented in everyday activities and movement. Home-cooked food is also a strength. Children's own free play and unhurried everyday life are valued. The family daycare worker becomes familiar with the whole family, which adds value to the care relationship.

There are three family daycare workers in Neuvottoma, one in Kirkkojärvi, one in Vilniemi and one in Poitsila.
