Linnoitus Kindergarten

Linnotinuks Daycare Center was opened in 2016 and is located right near the city center, amidst diverse learning environments. We are close to both city services and nature. The basis of Linnotinuks Daycare Center's operations are child-centered, play, safety, and positive pedagogy. The daycare center's operations reflect functional learning and small group activities. The values ​​of the work community are cooperation, trust, and open interaction.

The fort's daycare center is a Green Flag daycare center. Green Flag is Finland's largest sustainable development program and an international environmental label for daycare centers, schools, educational institutions, and leisure providers.

The Green Flag certificate is a testament to continuous development to become more sustainable and environmentally friendly. 

There are 11 groups of children in the Linnoitukin kindergarten. Four of these are groups for children under 3 years old and seven for children aged 3-5. In addition, one of the groups is a so-called reduced group of children.

The Citadel Daycare Center has 2 groups (under 3 and over 3) with extended opening hours. These groups are open from 5:30 AM to 6:30 PM, depending on the need, as previously announced.
