Parking spaces for tourist vehicles again on Vallikatu

Separately marked parking spaces (4) for tourist vehicles will be marked on Vallikatu for the summer (1 June - 31 August 2026). Parking spaces are limited to four hours at a time.

According to customer feedback, it has been difficult to find a parking space for a tourist vehicle in the city center for shopping. Marked parking spaces for tourist vehicles on Vallikatu were tested already in the summer of 2025 and the trial received good feedback from users.

In addition to Vallikatu, there are also parking spaces reserved for tourist vehicles on Tervasaari, for example.

During the Hamina Tattoo event week from 27 July to 2 August 2026, Vallikatu will be used for events, meaning that parking of tourist vehicles is not permitted on Vallikatu.
