For those who are afraid of water (teaching pool):
8 – 9:15 (Mon 16.6. 10-11:15)

Elementary groups 2 (teaching pool):
A: 9:15 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. (Mon 15.6. 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.)
B: 10:30 – 11:45 (Mon 15.6. 12:30-13:45)
C: 12:15 – 1:30 PM (Monday, June 15th, 2:15-3:30 PM)
D: 1:30 PM – 2:45 PM (Monday, June 15th, 3:30 PM-4:45 PM)

Beginner-advanced groups 2 (recreational swimming pool):
A: 9:15 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. (Mon 15.6. 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.)
B: 10:30 – 11:45 (Mon 15.6. 12:30-13:45)
C: 12:15 – 1:30 PM (Monday, June 15th, 2:15-3:30 PM)

Advanced group 2 (rehabilitation pool):
9:15 – 10:30 (Mon 15.6. 11:15 – 12:30)

Swimming school is intended for children born in 2021 and earlier, who are already used to the water and know how to operate independently in the changing rooms (excluding the group for those who are afraid of water). Those born in 2022 are also welcome, if they have experience in a swimming pool!

Children from neighboring municipalities and those spending the summer in Hamina are also welcome!

• In the elementary group The training pool is used to practice dipping, floating, sliding and the basics of swimming. The goal is to learn the basics of swimming and enjoy the water.

• In the elementary continuation group In the fitness pool, you can practice floating, sliding, and mole swimming.
  and beginner backstroke. The goal is to learn to swim and enjoy the water.
  When a child can swim at least 25 m with a life jacket and is used to swimming in a deep pool, they are ready for the beginner group. 

• In the advanced group In the fitness pool, you can practice different swimming techniques (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke), jumps and dives.

• Hydrophobic group is intended for children and young people who have difficulty getting baptized, entering the water, and wetting their faces.
  The goal of the group is to overcome the fear of water, learn to be in the water and enjoy it. No previous swimming experience is required.
  Children and young people progress at their own pace, even to the fitness pool, because there are more instructors.

      > Swimming marks are not given in summer swimming schools.

The price of a two-week swimming school is 40€/child. 

The fee is paid when registering in Asio. No right of cancellation.

Swimming lessons include swimsuits, a towel, a sauna mat, and swimming goggles in the swimming bag.

Roll call and gathering of swimming school students daily in the swimming hall lobby at the group start time.

On the last day of swimming school, there will be a swimming demonstration, to which guardians are welcome. 

For guardians, please bring your own indoor shoes, or go barefoot. Put your outerwear in the locker room. It's hot in the hall!

Participants in the beginner, advanced beginner and advanced groups are expected to swim with their guardians a few times before the start of swimming school, so that the practices in the locker room, washrooms, sauna and swimming pool are familiarized.
and the pool areas are familiar to the child. There is an assistant in both changing rooms, but the child should be relatively independent.

We also hope that the swimming school students are accustomed to the water so that we can start teaching immediately.
