The flag on the flagpole was lowered on Saturday, April 25, 2026, due to a wind warning. A tear was discovered during the lowering, and it will be repaired during week 18.

The flag of the Port of HaminaKotka will be raised on the flagpole on April 29, 2026 to celebrate the port company's 15th anniversary.

The Port Company's flag will be lowered on 30 April 2026, after which the flagging on the large flagpole will be suspended for approximately a week. During the flagging break, a Sirkus Finlandia event will be held on 4 May 2026 and a Match Show event on 6 May 2026 at the Large Flag Square.
