TATTOO-KATU 2026 – Even wider and more diverse!
The International Hamina Tattoo Military Music Festival will be held Mon-Sat 27 July-1 August 2026. Tattoo Street will be open during the event week Tue-Sat 28 July-1 August 2026 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
Tattoo Street, during the festival week, serves as a lively pedestrian and shopping street and a meeting place for both festival guests and city residents. The street runs from Raatihuoneentori through Fredrikinkatu all the way to the corner of Puistitalo. New are now the sales points on Pikkuympyräkatu with sales booths and extra places on Raatihuoneentori for the rest of the week, Thu-Sat 30.7.–1.8.2026! In March, applications will also be open for free sales points intended for Hamina associations and clubs.
The Tattoo Street sales locations have been very popular and in some places the demand has been more than we have been able to offer. With the additional locations, we aim to offer a sales location to as many people interested in the event as possible and to connect the different event locations more easily.

The street also provides access to the Tattoo Jazz concerts held at Restaurant Meyer and the popular park concerts held in Hamina Kesäpuisto.

New: Free places for Hamina clubs and associations, application period 2–16 March 2026!
One of the new features of Tattoo Street is that it also offers free exhibition and sales spaces for clubs and associations. The aim is to highlight local and regional hobby, cultural and association activities as part of the city life during the event week.
The free sales spots are intended for associations and clubs in Hamina. We want to enable the operators to raise funds, recruit members and present their activities. Places are limited, so it is worth starting to plan your own club or association's participation and registering well in advance!
