The renovation of the Saha underpass will start with preparatory work in week 16. The project will last from April to October 2026 and will cause changes to traffic arrangements on the Tervasalmi bridge.

Repair work will begin with the establishment of the construction site and the establishment of traffic arrangements in week 16. During the work, traffic will be diverted to alternative routes:

  • From Kotka towards Hamina: Traffic will be diverted to a detour that runs along the light traffic route towards Tervasaari. The light traffic route and vehicle traffic will be safely separated by a barrier during the work.
  • From Hamina towards Kotka: The second lane will remain in use throughout the project.

Ratecon Oy is the main contractor for the work, and Siltamestarit Oy is responsible for the implementation.
