The Town Hall's roof renovation is underway!

The roof of Hamina Town Hall is being renovated, with Pellista Oy acting as the main contractor. The work began in week 38 and is progressing in two different phases:

In week 38, scaffolding and weather protection will be built on the roof of the tower section of the Town Hall. The tower section is scheduled to be completed in week 42. Work will continue with the construction of the scaffolding and weather protection for the main roof in weeks 42-43. The dismantling of the weather protection and scaffolding is expected to begin in week 50, after which the roof renovation work will be completed.

The Town Hall Café will be open as normal during the renovation work. The entrance to the café is from the end facing Hamina Bastion. The construction site area is protected by fences to ensure safety, so there is no need to walk inside the security fences for safety reasons.
