The introduction of the micro traffic permit will be postponed

The Hamina Urban Development Committee decided on 25 August 2025 to introduce a micro traffic permit by 1 January 2026. However, a request for rectification has been made against the decision, requesting that the permit conditions of the micro traffic permit be corrected with regard to night-time restrictions and the definition of parking rules. Due to the request for rectification, the provisions decided by the committee will not yet enter into force, and the matter will be reviewed again on 28 January 2026 at the earliest.
