A courtyard concert played by the Canadian Band and the public watching the performance

The Old Courtyards of the Fortress open their courtyard at Hamina Tattoo

The popular Hamina Old Houses will open their courtyards to the public again this year during the Hamina Tattoo military music festival. A total of twelve courtyards will be open to the public and military bands during Tattoo week.

The Old Courtyards of the Fortress are open from Tuesday to Saturday from 12:00 to 18:00. However, it is worth noting that some courtyards are only open during concerts. There are 2–3 courtyard concerts every day and the lineups vary. In addition to the concerts, the courtyards also host a variety of other events, from art exhibitions to pop-up cafes.

In courtyard concerts, each courtyard is a different size, so it is good to note that different numbers of people are allowed into the courtyards during the concerts. Once the capacity is reached, no more people can be admitted into the courtyard, so it is good to arrive at the concert on time!
