Kymenlaakso Villages informs

Open Villages Day will be held again on Saturday, June 13.6, when villages around the country welcome guests to explore, enjoy and get excited about the possibilities of the countryside – as a visitor, resident, tourist or entrepreneur.

There are already almost 200 events on the event map. Five events have been reported from villages in Kymenlaakso.

The day is intended for all events organized by village associations or similar associations. Registration for the event is easy and free of charge. The registration form can be found on the website www.avoimetkylat.fiIt is also worth noting existing village events on the map and utilizing free Open Villages materials.

Events will be updated on the national map base right up until the very last moment, but we hope that events in Kymenlaakso will be announced on the site by 4.6. All events in our region that have been announced by 4.6. will be included on the common map base and in the advertisement that we will publish digitally at the beginning of the event week.

Material to support your village's marketing

Villages participating in Open Villages Day traditionally receive free marketing material, logos, newsletters and advertising templates. The materials can be found at www.avoimetkylat.fi website. There are also Open Villages signs, stickers and a few balloons left at the Kouvola and Hamina offices.

National and regional communications

The national village organization Suomen Kylät ry is communicating about the event in general through various channels. Kymenlaakso Kylät ry, in turn, is communicating about the events in its own province in local media and extensively through its own and partner channels.
