Open data

The city publishes information on purchase invoices monthly. The open purchase data is always opened after the 15th of the month.

Opening up data is part of the city's development of digital services. Transparency of data improves the information base for decision-making, makes the city's operations more efficient and increases trust. The data has been extracted from the city's purchase invoice system.

The request for information must be made verbally or in writing, e.g. by email. The request for information must be as specific as possible, but it does not need to be justified.

It is not possible to publish images of invoices online, but invoices can be viewed at the financial office. The information can also be provided as a copy or printout, but a fee will be charged for their delivery.

Responding to a request for information also takes time, because invoices may contain information that we may have to cover up/remove under the Act on the Public Access to Documents.
