Disability Council

The Disability Council of the City of Hamina is a cooperative body of the city and disability organizations operating in its area. According to Section 28 of the Local Government Act, the Disability Council must be given the opportunity to influence the planning, preparation and monitoring of the activities of various departments of the municipality in matters that are of significance to the well-being, health, participation, living environment, housing, mobility or performance of daily activities of persons with disabilities, or the services they need.
