Central municipal election board
The Central Election Board is responsible for organizing municipal and regional elections as well as national elections (parliamentary elections, presidential elections and EU elections).
The tasks of the Central Election Board in national elections are:
- election information
- preparations for early voting
- preparations for institutional and home voting
- Election Day voting preparations
- training of election officials
- checking advance voting documents
- preliminary vote count announcement
In municipal elections, the Central Election Board's duties also include:
- receiving and reviewing candidate applications
- preparation of a combination of candidate lists
- verification and reporting of all votes cast in the municipality
- confirmation and publication of election results
