Vitality and Wellbeing Committee

The task of the Vitality and Wellbeing Committee is to promote municipal democracy and the means of participation and interaction of residents and communities as part of the cross-administrative core process of resident influence, and to support the voluntary and goal-oriented activities of residents and communities.

To be responsible for promoting well-being and health, to monitor the living conditions, well-being and health of its residents and their development in the well-being report and to cooperate extensively with public, community and business actors. To promote the vitality, attractiveness and competitiveness of the city of Hamina. To ensure the operating conditions of the youth council, customer committees, village committees and other actors promoting community. To be responsible for sports, culture and library activities as well as tourism and marketing services and museums. To be responsible for the tasks prescribed for the Rural Industries Authority.

The Vitality and Wellbeing Committee will meet in 2026 as follows:

15.1., 12.2., 19.3., 29.4., 27.5., 26.8., 24.9., 15.10., 19.11. and 16.12.
