Town council
The town council decides on, among other things, the central objectives of the municipality's operations and finances, the organization of the municipal administration, the principles of the town's economics and financing, and the budget. In addition, the council's competence includes the election of the mayor and elected officials to other municipal bodies. The council makes decisions on tax and property tax rates, zoning plans, and various regional policy programs.
