Town government
The town government responsibilities include the administration and finances of the municipality, representing the municipality and overseeing its interests. It prepares materials for the council. In addition, the government monitors the legality of and implements the council's decisions.
The town government has general authority to decide on matters that are not expressly assigned to the town council or another body.
The mayor acts as the rapporteur at the town council meeting.
In matters concerning the mayor, the chairman of the town council acts as the rapporteur.
The Hamina Town Council will meet in 2026 as follows:
