11/2024 During Children's Rights Week, a changing image and text about children's rights will be displayed on the market screen every day. Several industries will have their own posts about children's rights.
11/2024 Analysis of the survey conducted in the spring for students with an immigrant background and proposals for measures with the well-being coordinator, youth coordinator and youth worker. Further discussion with the Hilma Partnership House organization coordinator regarding the measures.
11/2024 eOppiva training material available on the Porti homepage and the Child-Friendly Municipality website. Information regarding the use of the material will be sent to supervisors at the same time. The last date for completing the training is 30.5. 2025.
11/2024 Videotaped and filmed material with children at the station school for the city's electronic orientation program.
12/2024 Filming for the orientation video on student participation has been done with the park department.
12/2024 Coordination group meeting. Topics include feedback from the UNICEF follow-up meeting, issues related to eOppiva practices, and the electronic form template for child impact assessments, which is still under development.
12/2024 Project funding has been applied for a summer camp that will address the challenges presented in a survey of students with an immigrant background. Collaboration with Kumppanuustalo Hilma.
1/2025 Filming for an introductory video on child impact assessment was done with the educational service.
2/2025 The video on Children's Rights has been completed and included in the city's orientation video. The video can be viewed on this Children's Rights website and on YouTube.
2/2025 Meeting of student council representatives and chairmen of Hamina committees at the Town Hall for a question and answer session. The event is related to the student participation goal.
3/2025 Presentation of the results of surveys conducted among immigrants and out-of-school students at the Youth Council meeting and consideration of further measures.

5/2025 Website review organized by the Communications Coordinator for managers and administrative staff; accessibility, updating and development needs of the pages
5/2025 Summary of the evaluation of the student union board's operations assessed in connection with the school's academic year evaluations completed.
6/2025 A summer club for immigrant children implemented with project funding in June.
8/2025 Certificates of participation for the training on children's rights have been sent to the coordinator. Over 550 certificates of participation were collected (approximately 80% of the staff).
8/2025 The communication plan on children's rights is complete. One child's right will be displayed on the Tori screen every month.
12/2025 Evaluation meeting between the coordination group and UNICEF.
