The City Council will meet on October 13, 2025.

The City Council will convene on June 15, 2026 at the Town Hall. The meeting will discuss, among other things, a request for rectification regarding the decision made by the City Council (27 April 2026, Section 88 Purchase of land in the Mäkelänkangas industrial area). Since the decision made by the City Council on April 27, 2026, minor matters have arisen in the matter, based on which the terms of the real estate transaction need to be revised or clarified to a minor extent. However, there is no reason to overturn the decision.

In addition, the meeting will discuss, among other things, the instructions for preparing the 2027 budget and the 2027-2029 financial plan. The City Council will also discuss the conclusion of the cooperation negotiations regarding event and employment services in the vitality and well-being sector, as well as the conclusion of the cooperation negotiations related to the reorganization of food, cleaning and real estate services, with further measures.
