The City Council will meet on October 13, 2025.

The City Council will convene on Monday, December 1, 2025 at the Town Hall. The meeting will discuss the third interim report for 2025 and present appropriation changes for 2025 to the City Council for approval. Numerous appropriation revisions have been made in the March and July interim reports, so the revisions being made now are individually significant, although not that large in net terms. The appropriation revisions being made now mainly review land rental income, school personnel expenses, and tax revenues.

In addition, the meeting will discuss the 2026 budget and the financial plan for 2026–2028. After the City Council's consideration, the budget and plan will proceed to the council for approval. As in previous years, the starting points for preparing the budget and plan have been challenging, and the plan years include significant adjustment measures.

The meeting will also decide, among other things, on presenting the purchase of the Wanha Veteraani property and the containers located there to the council. In addition, the meeting will discuss the conclusion of a land use agreement and a change in the city plan in the Poitsila district block, as well as the project plan for the conversion of the former Kellokkallio service center into a city hall. The city council will make the final decision on the matter.
