The city and entrepreneurs' morning coffees discussed the Municipal Barometer 2025 and future goals.

The Mayor and entrepreneurs' morning coffee was organized at the Town Hall on November 11, 2025. Representatives from the City of Hamina, Cursor, Hamina Yrittäjä and Kehittyvä Hamina were present. The topic of the meeting was the Orimattila trip organized by the City of Hamina and Hamina entrepreneurs, as well as business friendliness, the Municipal Barometer and measures to develop business friendliness in 2026. The Orimattila trip had been successful and was a positive experience for those who participated. 

The coffee mornings discussed what business friendliness is and how it is reflected in Hamina. Business friendliness was seen as part of the development of the city of Hamina, in addition to which Cursor's business services are supporting entrepreneurship in Hamina. The coffee mornings mentioned the goal for 2026 for Hamina to be in the top 10 in the Municipality Barometer. Development targets will include communication, improving cooperation and developing procurement measures. 

In addition, the meeting discussed the measures and experiences taken based on the results of the 2025 municipal benchmark. Efforts have been made to improve the internal and external communication of the City of Hamina, and an open vitality network has begun to meet, discussions have been increased on developing a business orientation, and cooperation has been improved by increasing meetings between the City of Hamina and entrepreneurs. During the morning coffees, there was also a discussion on how to take even more account of young entrepreneurs.
