Walkers Hamina
Walkers is preventive youth work on the streets and in meeting places, together with professionals. Walkers is a form of youth work developed by Aseman Lapset ry, which is based on the time and presence of volunteer adults for young people. The activity is implemented by the youth services of the city of Hamina together with the Hamina parish.
The most important task of a Walkers volunteer, or wapar, is to be present for young people. We train new volunteers in the activities. If you are interested and want to become a wapar, please contact Walkers manager Markus Lemmetyise, tel. 040 199 1746 or markus.lemmetyinen@hamina.fi.
Walkers are moving
Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 18-21 p.m.
Fridays 18 am-22 pm
Saturday's activities will be announced on Walkers' social media channels.
