A Japanese martial art that involves both unarmed and armed combat.
- NOTE! Minimum age 16 years.
- Sundays from 13-15 pm at the Annankatu field (weather permitting!)

PRINCESS AFUTIS For girls aged 3-8
The Princess Football event organized by Hamina Pallo-Kisso, which has been wildly popular in recent years, starts again on Monday 4.5th May!
- Date: May 4.5-13.5, four times in total

Hamina Region Motor Club and Pörinäkerho organize event days for children and young people during the summer at the Lelu motocross track.
Participants do not need to have any previous experience in motorsport!
First rides of the season at Lelu on May 9, 2026 at 11:00-13:30
- All children are welcome to try out mini-cross bikes of different sizes!
- The club provides equipment, so all you need is sturdy shoes, preferably long pants and a shirt or jacket – you don't need to wear your best clothes.
- The activity is completely FREE for children.
Junior Day at Lelu 13.6.2026
Today's program:
- 10-12.30 free children's track and rides with club equipment or children's/parents' own driving games
- The event is open to everyone!
- The clubs offer riding equipment and vehicles for testing to participants aged approximately 3-12.

Guided boxing lessons for ages 12 and up, from beginners to enthusiasts!
- Practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ruissalo sports hall.
- The group runs all summer long.
- Annual fee €110, free introduction!
If you are interested, you can just come and join the training! Please arrive before 5:30 PM, and we will open the door. The club has equipment for loan.

OP Kaakkois-Suomi and Haminan Palloilijat will organize a free volleyball school for girls and boys aged 5-10 from 2 to 14 June 2026.
At the baseball school, people practice baseball skills, rules, and play a lot. They also play and learn various reference games.
Bring exercise clothes, sneakers and your own flippers if you have them – equipment can also be borrowed if needed.
The instructors are players from HP's representative teams.
The swimming school is offered by the City of Hamina and OP Financial Group. Swimming school students receive a drinking bottle, insurance and guided exercises.Training in Hamina:

On Saturday, June 14.6th, a baseball school match will be held at Vallikentä, between the men's Ykköpesi HP and Ulvila, at 17:00 PM. Guardians have free admission to the match together with a baseball school student.

The City of Hamina swimming schools for children born in 2021 and earlier will take place in June at the Linnotin Swimming Hall in two two-week periods.
