Hamina Adult Education Centre provides liberal arts education for all age groups, as well as basic theatre and visual arts education for children and young people.
Community colleges are educational institutions based on local and regional educational needs, which offer opportunities for independent learning and the development of civic skills. Educational institutions of liberal arts can also organize development and service activities that support education or are closely related to it. Hamina Community College organizes education in the city of Hamina and the municipalities of Virolahti and Miehikkälä.

related to it. Hamina Adult Education Center organizes face-to-face teaching in thearea of the town of Hamina and the municipalities of Virolahti and Miehikkälä, as
as well as online teaching, where participants are from all over Finland.

The fall semester begins in week 36-37 and the spring semester begins in week 2-3.

Autumn vacation, when groups do not meet, is in week 43 (October 19 – October 25, 2026).Winter vacation, when groups do not meet, is in week 9 (March 2 – March 7, 2027).
At Easter time There will be no classes from March 25th to March 29th, 2027.
