Erasmus +

Hamina Upper Secondary School has been participating in the EU-supported Erasmus+ project since autumn 2024.

The goal is to create connections between different countries, increase language awareness, learn new things about different cultures, gain confidence in language skills, develop interaction skills, increase awareness of the environment, and learn more digital skills.

The students have made a study trip to Cartagena, Spain, and Kamenz, Germany. From there, the students and their teachers have also come to Halu for a return visit. Some of the teachers have gone on Job Shadowing in both Spain and Hungary. The Erasmus+ project also includes a course opportunity, which has also been utilized.

We will continue our study tours in the future if we continue to receive funding.
