Applying for preschool education

Preschool term begins 12.8.2026.

Registering for preschool:

• If the family has been a customer of early childhood education before, you must select on the page early childhood education with strong identification
• If the family has not been a client of early childhood education or the family information has changed, you must select on the page electronic application for new families

From the home page, select pre-school registration. You will find instructions next to the question marks and you can add clarifications in the additional information if necessary. The preschool place is chosen based on the child's future school.

On the "Search preferences" page, daycare is selected as the area.

Preschool and early childhood education

If a child needs supplementary early childhood education in addition to free preschool education due to the guardians' work or studies, select supplementary early childhood education in addition to preschool education on the application form. Early childhood education is organized in the same premises and with the same staff as preschool education. Preschool education units are generally open on weekdays between 6:30 and 17:00.

Preschool education decisions will be sent by email by the end of May.
