The Education and Training Committee convened on March 19, 2025

The Hamina Education and Training Committee met on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. 

The committee approved a proposal to update the basic school year plan for Hamina. Starting from the 2026–2027 school year, each school will define its own action plan to promote a physically active lifestyle for its students. The plan also includes an entrepreneurship education path and club activities for the school year.

The committee approved the first interim report for 2026 (January 1–March 31, 2026). The interim report included a review of, among other things, the operations and financial performance of early childhood education and education and youth services for the first half of the year.

The committee was presented with a status report on the city's cross-administrative Mobile projects, which include, among others, the Hamina Hobby Model 2025–2026 and the Mobile School project.
