Hamina Mayor Ilari Soosalu has once again announced Hamina's open Christmas light competition.
There are two series in the competition:
Category 1: home yards or balconies
Category 2: courtyards, facades and shop windows of companies and communities.
Participate by November 16, 2025
You can register for the competition by sending a picture of the object, the category and the participant's contact information via email. communications@hamina.fi. By November 16, 2025. Privacy policy
Voting is open from November 24.11th to December 10.12th, 2025.
Voting for the best Christmas lighting is open on the city's website from November 24.11 to December 10.12, 2025.
Announcing the winners
The winning windows, i.e. the ones with the most votes from both series, will be announced at the Wanha Holvisto Christmas event, Hamina Bastion on Sunday, December 14th at 10:30 am. The prizes will be a certificate of honor and a Hamina product award.
