Rentable and bookable spaces
On this site you will find office premises in the city of Hamina that can be reserved or rented for meeting and event use.
Premises for rent

The attic of the Hamina City Museum serves as an atmospheric rental space for various gatherings. The space is located at the end of the stairs, so it is not accessible. The attic is equipped with 50 chairs, a few tables, a video projector with HDMI connection, sound system, laptop and wireless network. The renter of the space agrees on the arrangements and furniture with the museum staff. The renter of the space arranges any catering on site themselves. In addition to meetings and lectures, the space can be used to organize pop-up exhibitions or small-scale events. The space also has adjustable spotlighting.
The space is available for rent from Monday to Saturday between 8 am and 20 pm. The museum has a janitor who takes care of opening and closing the museum before and after the event.

Prices
The rents include 25,5% VAT. Hamina-based associations and non-profit organizations receive a 50% discount on museum rents and opening fees.

The space is not available for rent during the winter season (November-March). When the museum is open in June-July, it can only be booked outside of museum opening hours.
The space for rent has a kitchen and a meeting room. The meeting room has a table and chairs for 8 people. The space has wireless internet and a piano. A video projector and screen are available for the space upon request. The need for a video projector and screen is stated when booking the space.
The kitchen has coffee and water kettles and a microwave. The kitchen has coffee utensils for 12 people. The museum does not have running water. The museum staff will bring a 10-liter canister of drinking water for those who book the space, as well as another canister for washing hands and washing dishes. The person who books the space will wash the dishes themselves.
An outdoor shed is available for tenants.
The space is only available for rent when the museum is closed. Renters have access to the rental space and the lobby. Visits to the museum must be arranged separately. Renters will receive a key and instructions for using the space from the museum office after signing the rental agreement.

- Freely available during library opening hours. If you want to secure a time, you can reserve the space in advance for two hours at a time. The gaming area is reserved through the library's customer service and cannot be reserved in advance.
