Connecting traffic and connecting traffic platforms
There are currently five city-maintained connection piers in the archipelago; one in Kuorsalo, one in Tammio, two in Nuokkoi and one in Majasaari.
Kuorsalo
There are several interesting walking trails on Kuorsalo Island, along which you can explore the island's diverse nature. Things to see include Viking-era burial mounds, viewpoints at the highest point of the island on Mount Vironvuori, an old pilot station and a cemetery. House Island
On the east shore of Majasaari there is a connecting pier and a breakwater with boat moorings. The island has, among other things, a barbecue shelter, toilets, an information point, a nature trail and a garbage collection point.

Nuoks
In Nuoko, there are mooring places on the rock and on a floating maintenance pier. There are buoy places on the pier on the outer side of Nuoko, otherwise boats are moored with anchors. Oak
Tammio is one of the best-preserved archipelago villages in the eastern Gulf of Finland, where you can sense the charm of old archipelago life in the milieu of beach huts and small alleys. The island is known to have been inhabited as early as the mid-1500th century, and a primary school was built on the island in 1891. Fishing was practiced until the 1950s. You can learn about the history of Tammio in the local history museum, which presents life in the archipelago and is located in an old fishing hut. For information on the museum's opening hours, call 040 735 7731. The Tammio fishing village is protected by a breakwater, where guest boats can moor.

In addition, a boat taxi TakSea ky will take you to the archipelago according to your wishes. Suitable destinations for a day trip include the Ulko-Nuokko Islands. Or go for a day to the Viking island of Rakinkotka.
Take a cruise to the archipelago
You can easily reach the Hamina archipelago by day cruise. Cruises depart from Sapokka harbour in Kotka and bookings and schedules can be found here. Meriset.fi. You can also take a cruise from Kotka to both Tammio and Ulko-Tammio. The archipelago cruise along the beautiful archipelago route from Kotka to Tammio Island takes two hours.
