Sports card on social grounds
The card aims to enable low-income people to exercise at the city's sports facilities and in sports groups. The card also aims to increase social relationships and interaction among city residents, meaning it keeps them healthier and more able to work.
The sports card is personal. The card issued to the parent of the family also entitles the family's minor children to exercise together with the card holder; the children are named on the card.
A sports card issued on social grounds entitles you to swimming and gym visits in swimming pools and in the fitness centers of the Linnotin swimming pool, sports halls, Veterans Home and Summa. It also entitles you to participate in dry land sports groups organized by sports services and to ice skating in the ice rink during public hours. This means that you cannot enter the pool groups with a sports card.

When making the decision, the applicant's gross income and individual need for exercise related to their life situation are taken into account.
Gross income limits:
- personal sports card €1100/month
- in a family with children:
- Family of 2 €1355/month
- Family of 3 €1671/night
- Family of 4 €1983/month
- Family of 5 €2116/month
