Hamina offers good conditions for cycling and cycling routes for all tastes. The sights in the city centre are all close to each other and the flat terrain makes for easy cycling. The cycling routes also bring cyclists close to nature, which can be admired while cycling peacefully. From the back of a bike, the circles of Hamina can be seen in a completely new way.

The cycling map includes many different cycling routes and destinations, serving both tourists and residents. The handy pocket-sized map is available from the City of Hamina's Asiointipiste Rinkeli. (Town Hall Square 1) and other distribution points in the city. The map also contains a link to Take control of Hamina -the bike route can be opened directly from your smartphone or computer for the map application.

The cycling map was updated in the summer of 2019. The updated map was published by the cities of Kotka and Hamina in cooperation with Cursor oy.

Hamina is part of network of cycling municipalities together with over 90 municipalities. The main goal of the network is to increase cycling and walking as sustainable modes of transport and everyday movement that produce well-being for the individual, society and the environment.
