The ice rink is a wooden-framed arched hall with an ice area measuring 58 m x 28 m. There are six changing rooms, showers, equipment drying rooms, conference rooms and a café. The grandstand has 500 seats and 300 standing places. The ice hockey rink can accommodate two curling rinks, for which the hall also has stone sets. The hall also offers a skate rental service.

The Hamina Ice Rink is located in the Ruissalo Sports Centre, approximately four kilometres from the town centre. The Ruissalo Sports Centre area also includes a sports hall, a ball field, a grass field, a biathlon stadium, a mountain bike/trail running track, a frisbee golf course, fitness trails and illuminated ski trails. There are parking spaces for approximately 250 cars. The ice rink also serves enthusiasts in the summer.
