Cultural services
Hamina Cultural Services promotes and supports art and cultural activities. It organises diverse cultural events and services in Hamina in cooperation with an extensive and diverse network of partners.
The cultural services of the Town of Hamina support and promote both the professional practice of art and culture and various cultural recreational activities, which are intended to serve different target groups in the municipality. Cultural services are implemented in cooperation with many different actors. They are also targeted at different ages and are planned taking other special needs into account. The goal is to achieve cultural equality in the municipality. Art and culture are the right of every citizen.

- preserving local cultural traditions in various ways

- Cultural grants (well-being of Hamina residents) once a year
- Hamina Cultural Award (nominations from Hamina residents, selection at the end of the year)
