Well-Being Hamina residents grants are allocated to registered communities in Hamina in the form of cultural, sports, youth and other welfare-promoting grants.

Have you already met Asio?
Purchasing gym cards, signing up for exercise groups, reserving facilities, and registering for events are all handled through Asio. hamina.asio.fi.
In the future, entry to the sports facilities of the city of Hamina will be done electronically via codes obtained from Asio. The plastic cards for the Linnotin swimming pool and Ruissalo gym will cease to function at the turn of the year. The use of cardboard cards for the Hamina sports hall will also end at the turn of the year. Government mail will become electronic – attend information sessions in January 2026
Finland will transition to receiving official mail primarily electronically in 2026, when legislation on the digital primacy of official mail comes into force. The Finnish Digital and Population Data Agency will organize webinars for citizens on the transition to digital official mail in January 2026. There will be two events in Finnish, one in Swedish and one in English.
