The Hamina Fortress Christmas program culminates in the Old Vault Christmas event on December 13-14.12. 

The family-friendly Christmas event at Hamina Bastion is open Sat-Sun 13-14 December from 10 am to 4 pm. Admission to the event area is free. The program includes a Christmas program for the whole family, and on Sunday 14 December, the winner of the Hamina Christmas Light Competition will be announced on the Hamina Bastion event stage at 10:30 am. Hamina Merchants' Museum Christmas Exhibition " The miracle of birth”, which can be seen during museum opening hours until December 28.12. Free admission on Wednesdays and with a Museum Card. 

Bringing markets will be held at Hamina Market Square on Sunday, December 21.12st from 8 am to 18 pm Come and do some Christmas shopping! 

Decorated Christmas trees can be seen in Trykininpuisto, next to the Town Hall Square, on the tree alley organized by Kehittyvä Hamina ry. You can also vote for your favorite tree! 

Hamina's Christmas calendar windows will once again traditionally open in the houses in the old town centre of Hamina daily from 1.12 December to 24.12 December at 18 pm. During the days between Christmas, a guessing competition will be held to guess the names/themes of the windows, where you can guess the correct windows from the given names. The event is organised by the Linnoituse Wanhat talot ry association. See the order of opening the windows by the association from the website.

Follow the stars - nativity scenes 2025 are nativity scene exhibition sites organized by the Hamina parish, which can be seen in Hamina, Miehikkälä and Virolahti from 30.11.-6.1. You can walk from nativity scene to nativity scene or stop by a nativity scene as you pass by. Destination maps are available for download at Hamina from the church's website.
