Hamina Urban Development Committee will meet on October 15, 2025

The Hamina Urban Development Committee will meet at the Town Hall on Monday, September 22, 2025 at 16:30 PM. The following matters will be discussed at the meeting:

• Public transport in Hamina in 2026: Situation overview of public transport in 2026.
• Statement to the Administrative Court of Eastern Finland: The committee will issue its opinion on a complaint regarding the damage caused to a property by stormwater.
• The Urban Development Committee's second interim report for 2025: An overview of the 2025 economy and projects, such as the start of construction work on the Uuden-Summa sports hall and the renovation of the Pyhällö school.
• Market rules update: The updated rules are scheduled to enter into force on January 1, 2026.
• Establishment of councils for the disabled and the elderly: The committee will appoint its representatives to the new Councils for the Disabled and the Elderly for the term 2025–2029.
• Council initiative on the Kellokallio nursing home: The committee opposes the council initiative regarding Kellokallio.
