The Hamina City Council has decided to appeal the decision regarding Seurahuone.
The Hamina City Council has decided to apply for a right of appeal to the Supreme Administrative Court in the appeal related to the Community Hall. The final decision on applying for a right of appeal will be made at the City Council meeting on 12 May 2025. The deadline for applying for a right of appeal is 16 May 2025.
The Administrative Court has stated in its decision that the information provided about the sale of the property was insufficient and that the auction period was too short. The city wants to make additions and corrections to these and other points discussed in the decision.
The current lease agreement for Seurahuone with Dualtech Oy has been drafted to be valid until the administrative court's decision becomes final. Therefore, the lease agreement will continue until the matter is finally resolved,
