Different age groups from Hamina School of Fine Arts are participating in the anniversary exhibition and this year the theme of their works is portraiture. The students have created portraits using various techniques. The portraits feature self-portraits of the students and local government officials from Hamina. Some of the portraits on display in the exhibition were created while the local government official was a model at the school, while others were made using photographs. The portraits were created using techniques such as acrylic, watercolor and gouache painting. The exhibition also includes free-form works and other practice works.
The library gallery is located on the ground floor of the Hamina Main Library, accessible via stairs from the library lobby. The gallery is also accessible for people with disabilities from the back of the library. Please ask the library staff at the service desk for instructions.
