Hamina Tattoo 2026: The magic of the Baltic Sea and a new look!
There is about a year left until the Hamina Tattoo starts on 27 July–1 August 2026 and the planning work is already in full swing! The International Military Music Festival will return to Hamina in the summer of July 2026 and unforgettable moments are promised again.
Baltic Sea as a theme
The 2026 Hamina Tattoo will be inspired by the Baltic Sea. This theme fits well with the seaside town of Hamina and invites orchestras and performers from all over the world to Hamina and Hamina Bastion again. The diversity of the Baltic Sea and its unifying power will be reflected in the festival program, offering the audience both familiar tunes and new experiences. The Hamina Tattoo festival will also start working towards the Eco Compass certification. The planning of the orchestras according to the theme is in full swing and we look forward to how different cultures and traditions will be reflected in accordance with the theme.
Next year, the theme of Hamina Tattoo will be the Baltic Sea and the event program will be built around it. The Baltic Sea as a theme also provides a good reason to start aiming for the Eco Compass certificate and start focusing more on the environmental responsibility of the major event.

Hamina Tattoo has also renewed its look. The festival is adopting a new logo that aims to preserve the theme of Hamina Tattoo and the spirit of the previous logo. The new logo will appear in all festival communications in the future.
