Uus-Summa Preschool

Uuden-Summa preschool is open on weekdays from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. depending on the child care hours. Free preschool is organized daily from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. During the 2025-2026 operating season, the building will house two preschool groups, Hirs and Porot, which operate in the same premises as Uuden-Summa kindergarten, next to Uuden-Summa school. 

In everyday life, we utilize the local environment, such as the Murtalho field, the nearby forest and gravel pits. We collaborate with the school, an example of this is the collaboration with the 4th grade regarding sponsored student activities.
Uusi-Summa Preschool implements preschool education in accordance with the national and City of Hamina preschool curriculum. Our activities consist of diverse learning methods.
