The first-ever Hamina Wine Festival starts today!

The first Hamina Wine Festival will be celebrated in the magnificent setting of Hamina Bastion on Friday-Saturday, August 15-16, 2025. A diverse range of drinks will meet the top names in Finnish music in a unique setting. Over the course of two days, a total of nine Finnish top artists will take the stage.

All admission tickets will be exchanged for wristbands and there will be a dedicated lane at the gate for WIP customers. At the entrance you can upgrade your regular admission ticket to a WIP ticket or a one-day admission ticket to a full weekend admission ticket.

There is a cloakroom at the entrance to the wine festival. The cloakroom fee is 4 euros and the cloakroom visit is 3 euros.

Only bank card payments are accepted at the Wine Festival.

The parking area at the end of Rauhankatu has been dedicated to event maintenance. Public access is only possible through the main entrance to Hamina Bastion (Raatihuoneenkatu 12).

The festival bus runs from Kotka Travel Centre to Hamina Bastion on Friday from 4:00 PM and on Saturday from 2:00 PM. Cars stop in both directions at the Karhula ramps. In Hamina, the festival bus drops off and picks up customers from the same place, in front of St. John's Church (Raatihuoneentori 10). A one-way trip costs 8 euros.

The official taxi partner of the event is Kymenlaakso Taksi / 0100 87227. Kymenlaakson Taksi will have its own taxi rank at Raatihuoneentori during the event.

We ask customers arriving by bike or scooter to leave their vehicles a little further away from the immediate vicinity of the event venue (Raatihuoneenkatu and Pikkuympyräkatu) to ensure smooth movement. Sidewalks and street areas must be kept open for pedestrians and emergency vehicles. Road sections near the event area are not closed to vehicle traffic, so please follow normal traffic rules. Walking in the driving lanes is not allowed, and similarly, riding bicycles or scooters on the sidewalks is not allowed.
