Bathing water quality information

The municipal health protection authority regularly monitors the water quality of public swimming pools and beaches. The number of swimming water samples is mainly determined by the number of visitors. The water quality of public swimming beaches is monitored regularly during the swimming season. The water quality results of both swimming pools and public swimming beaches are displayed on the notice board of each swimming area. Winter swimming areas are also subject to monitoring. Hamina Health Protection is responsible for monitoring the quality of swimming water in the Hamina, Virolahti and Miehikkälä areas.
