Health protection

Health Protection Act (763/1994) The monitoring in accordance with the Act maintains and promotes the health of the population and prevents, reduces and eliminates factors that may cause danger or harm to human health and the living environment. The health of the population is protected, among other things, by monitoring and studying the adverse health effects caused by domestic and bathing water, housing, common living spaces and waste, and by influencing the use of areas in a way that prevents health hazards.
