Registration notifications under the Food and Health Protection Act can be made electronically through the national environmental health service ILPPA. In the ILPPA service, you can report the start, significant change, termination or change of operator of most activities under the Food and Health Protection Act.

If you are unable to use the electronic notification service, you can still submit a notification to health surveillance using the traditional form. Request the form from health surveillance by email. health inspector@hamina.fi or by phone 05 749 2551.

An application under the Tobacco Act can be made through the electronic Turre system maintained by the Finnish Licensing and Supervision Agency. The Tobacco Register (Turre) is a national electronic system where you can apply for a permit for the retail sale of tobacco products, nicotine liquids and smokeless nicotine products, as well as report wholesale sales or changes to information.
