Mobile food apartments

A mobile food facility refers to a food sales or serving point or a food preparation or processing facility that can be moved from one location to another. Examples include various vending trucks, tents or small kiosks. Typically, mobile food facilities operate at various events, fairs, markets and fairgrounds.

Mobile food premises operations must be reported to the food control authority of the operator's home municipality. Once the report has been made, the food operator can also operate in other municipalities.

If you plan to operate in another municipality, you must notify the authorities of that municipality at least four days before commencing operations.
