Real estate register and extracts
The real estate register is part of the real estate information system.
One part of the Real Estate Information System (KTJ) is the real estate register, where properties such as premises, plots and public areas are recorded. Other register units include common areas.
The real estate register for plots and public areas formed within the city plan area of Hamina is maintained by the city's real estate formation unit. For other properties, the real estate register is maintained by the Southeastern Finland Land Survey Office.
Plots are given an identifier consisting of the city, district, block and plot number. The plot area, date of registration, encumbrances, shares in common areas and other information related to the plot are entered in the real estate register.
The real estate register is public and everyone has the right to access information from it. Extracts from the real estate register for the entire territory of Finland are provided upon request.
