Road safety

The traffic safety work of the Town of Hamina is promoted and monitored by the Hamina multidisciplinary traffic safety working group. The group includes representatives of various town departments and bodies, as well as representatives of the South-Eastern Finland ELY Centre, the South-Eastern Finland Police Department, the Rescue Services and the Finnish Road Safety Council. The working group's liaison person is Town Engineer Ari Lonka.
